The villagers of Masasi, Tanzania,
were able to supplement the meager income they earned from subsistence
farming by
hand-weaving your
palms crosses.
The Youth and Mother's Conference on AIDS education--
organized to spread information on how to avoid this deadly
disease--was partially funded by a grant from African Palms USA.
Another grant provided medical supplies for a newly
constructed surgical ward where major operations will be conducted.
Water and sanitation projects, designed and built by
the people of Africa, were funded by a grant from African Palms
USA.
Orphan housing, vocational training and educational
opportunities are just a few of the other programs supported by
African Palms USA.
