Welcome

Welcome video from Fr. Rock and Jennifer

We are thrilled to have you visit!

We pray that as you look at our site you get a sense of the great love God has for you and of our desire to see His dream for you fulfilled.

In the St. John's community, you will find God's living Presence as we

  • worship with joy
  • nurture children and families
  • reach out in Christian love to people near and far, and
  • strive to apply Jesus' teachings to our everyday lives.

We do all this so that God's children can soar, so that we can become all that God created us to be.

For our mission and vision statements, please see below.

We take seriously Jesus' promise to bring us, now and forever, abundant and fulfilling life.

"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"
John 10.10b

Additional Information About St. John's

St. John's community consists of three primary ministries:

  • A Christ-Centered Parish Church that embraces all and ministers the love of Jesus with excellence and purpose.
  • A K— 8 School that steeps children in the Christian faith while preparing them to become world-class scholars and people of integrity and character.
  • An International Outreach Mission called "African Palms" which, through the sale of hand-woven Palm crosses, supports several villages in Tanzania while granting tens-of-thousands of dollars in annual development grants to local projects throughout Africa.

St. John's is growing, dynamic, and full of life.

Like the eagle, our patron saint's symbol, we are soaring.  People of many backgrounds, ages, and persuasions create new friendships here and join in meaningful, fulfilling, and fun activities.

  • Our Sunday School rooms ring out with happy children.
  • Our Youth Ministry gives young adults spiritual belonging and life-long purpose.
  • Our Service Projects share the concrete love of Jesus by improving the lives of real people next door and across the world. We are a caring community. People will notice you, be there for you, and respect you.

Ours is a rational faith emphasizing the importance of personal conscience that at the same time knows how to feed the spirit with mystery, beauty, and holiness.

happy family

And we are a happy place!  Here you will find children laughing and playing, see adults smiling and rejoicing, watch as lives are transformed by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God delights in you!

God wants your life to be abundant!

Come, join our worship.  Come, be a part of our celebrations.

Experience firsthand the love of God and the joy of life through the living, worshipping, growing community of St. John's – A Place Where You Can Soar!
